CONDUCTOR AND FOUNDING ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
David Möschler is an award-winning musical director and conductor. Equally at home in a pit orchestra, a rock or jazz band, the recording studio, on the concert stage, or academia, he has music-directed over one hundred productions for companies such as American Conservatory Theater, Guthrie Theater, Berkeley Rep, and San Jose Rep, to name a few. Möschler received his Master of Arts in Music (conducting) from UC Davis in 2010. He founded Awesöme Orchestra in 2013 and conducts almost every session. Find out more at DavidMoschler.com
Corey Johnson is classically trained on both the violin and the viola. As a youth he studied at Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute and toured with New England Conservatory’s youth symphony. He has been playing with Awesöme Orchestra since 2013, and has been one of our Violin Ambassadors since 2014. Among his other musical pursuits, he is a board member and concertmaster for the San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra, and enjoys playing with a variety of Bay Area community orchestras and youth musical theatre programs.

Dr. Glenda Bates is a soulful musician and multi-instrumentalist whose innovative approach blends classical training techniques with jazz repertoire and improvisation. She is an active freelancer in Baroque, Classical, and Jazz ensembles, and is actively sought out by contemporary classical composers to perform new works for oboe and English horn. Baily Hopkins is a Bay Area born-and-raised actor and violinist. She's performed with the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra, the Playa Pops Orchestra at Burning Man, pit orchestras throughout the Bay, and is also a YPSO Alumni. Passionate about creating more performance opportunities for local artists, Baily was the Music and Arts Content Manager for SF Station where she fostered relationships with many independent venues and musicians. HEAD STAGE MANAGER AND MUSIC LIBRARIAN
Stephen Treder prepares music for each session, maintains the music library, transports orchestra equipment, and sets the stage at Awesome Orchestra venues. You'll often find Stephen moving the timpani, and handing out music at our information table. With over 15 years experience as a trombonist in community music ensembles, he performs throughout the bay area, and was librarian and a founding board member of the Saint Helena Community Band.
