REPERTOIRE & SCHEDULE

2:00 - 2:40pm - Libertango by Astor Piazzolla (arr. J. Kazik)

3:00 - 4:00pm - Serenade for Strings by Edward Elgar

4:15 - 5:00pm - Ceridwen by Holly Mead (world premiere reading)

SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY

In the spirit of keeping this as safe as possible, this won’t be a typical session. Our repertoire is for STRINGS ONLY (and a few percussion parts… Sorry brass, woodwinds, and singers - we promise to have y’all at the next session TBD) and we’re capping our musician list at 65 and our audience list at 35 on a first-come-first-served basis via our sign-ups that go LIVE on Friday at noon! While we will be keeping windows and doors open for ventilation, please note that this session is INDOORS.

If you are vaccinated, face masks are OPTIONAL.

If you are not vaccinated, face masks are REQUIRED.

We will be slightly more spread out than normal, but we won’t be keeping six feet between players. Musicians are welcome to sit one player per stand if they wish.

**IMPORTANT**
We are not asking for proof of vaccination, so please keep your community safe by respecting the honor system. If you are high-risk we ask that you make whatever judgment call keeps you the safest. If you are feeling ill, or you’re taking care of someone who is sick, we ask that you not attend this session. We plan on having more in-person sessions this year, so this isn’t your only opportunity to join us — deciding to sit this one out for health or safety reasons is entirely your call and we look forward to having you join us at a session in the future.

FOR MUSICIANS

We’ll send out our musician sign-up link this Friday, June 25 at noon - so keep your eyes on your inboxes if you want to sign up to play! Full instrumentation and details will be included with the sign-up link.

As always, musicians are asked to bring their own stands. For this session, musicians can choose to be one player per stand if they wish.

FOR AUDIENCE MEMBERS

We’re asking potential audience members to RSVP so we can keep an eye on the overall capacity of the event. The link to RSVP as an audience member will go LIVE this Friday at noon. As always, this Open Session will be FREE for all audience members (and all ages are welcome and encouraged!)

——————————————————

We’re so excited to be able to safely gather again and make music together! We’ve lengthened our breaks between pieces to allow for more socializing, but sadly there won’t be any food or drinks allowed at this event. Should you want to grab a beer with your fellow community members, please join us for an after-session social hang at Cornerstone on Shattuck (more details TBA Friday).

We hope to see you there,
