Session 59: Harry Potter Trivia!

  • Omni Commons 4799 Shattuck Avenue Oakland, CA, 94609 United States (map)

We're beyond thrilled to have our first session at the Omni Commons this July 4! Come celebrate with us for our annual mid-year fundraiser with trivia and music from the world of Harry Potter! Costumes encouraged!

SIGN-UPS ARE NOW OPEN UNTIL JUNE 28: https://goo.gl/forms/kfsYganHhCRmFMc02!

WHEN: Wednesday, July 4, 2018, 6:00–9:30 p.m.

WHERE: Omni Commons Ballroom, 4799 Shattuck Ave., Oakland, CA (enter on Shattuck Ave. entrance!)

TRANSPORTATION SUGGESTIONS: It is a ten-minute walk (0.5 mile) from MacArthur BART station, so we strongly recommend using buses or BART, or biking, or carpools. Limited street parking is available, but will be tight since the meters are off on the holiday. It's a safe neighborhood, but the venue strongly recommends parking on Shattuck or Telegraph and avoiding leaving items in vehicles during the event.

Please bring a music stand, battery-powered stand light since the lighting can get low by the end of the session! We'll have chairs, sheet music, water, and beer for the musicians!

The sign-up deadline for all sections is Thursday, June 28. Once that has passed, expect an email from your Awesöme Ambassadors with specific info and part assignments (check your spam filters if this is your first session). Email your ambassadors if you haven't heard back by that weekend. (Please be patient—they have a lot of information to collect before emailing everyone.) Their information can be found at www.awesomeorchestra.org/ambassadors.
